What To Expect From Our Home Pest Control

When you call Florida Sun Termite and Pest Control, we’ll provide you with a free estimate right over the phone. We’ll then schedule a time to visit your house to perform a thorough inspection. We’ll check cracks and crevices to see if pests are hiding inside and look for conducive conditions that attract pests. We will also see if there are any sanitation issues or standing water that could attract pests and provide helpful tips about easy changes you can make to prevent pests from being attracted to your house.

Our first treatment of your home includes both an interior and exterior treatment. We use Integrated Pest Management methodologies to minimize product usage and protect your family and the environment. 

During our first treatment we:

  • Treat one to two feet around windows, doors, entry points, pipes, plumbing, and porches. The product creates a barrier for 90 days preventing bugs getting in.
  • Knock down spider webs or wasps nests on the house. 
  • Granulate ten feet around the perimeter of the home.
  • Put baits in specific locations with issues inside the house.
  • Put low-dosage products around baseboards and windows for pests that are already inside.

We perform follow-up services around the exterior of your house every 60 to 90 days. These services include the same exterior treatments as during the initial service. We will only treat the interior of your home if it is needed. On an annual basis, we’ll take off electrical plates and dust inside, put out preventative bait, and provide a more in-depth service to fully maintain your home’s pest protection.

  • Inspection
    A thorough inspection of your house alerts us to its pest problems. We’ll look for pest activity, harborage areas, and conducive conditions, so we know what to eliminate.
  • Treatment
    Our first treatment includes interior and exterior locations, allowing us to eliminate your active pest problems and provide the preventative services you need to avoid future issues.
  • Follow-Up
    We offer exterior follow-up services every 60-90 days to keep your home’s protection working at its best. We also do a more detailed treatment on an annual basis to stop problems before they start.
